Bio

Anupriya Aggarwal is an urban practitioner curious about finding innovation in participatory research. Currently, she is engaging with communities in Mumbai to shift common practices of how stories of urban change are told and who tells them, thereby expanding the understanding of urban poverty and marginalisation. Prior to this, she worked with different stakeholder groups in underserved localities in Delhi to co-develop citizen-led inventories of the quality of public spaces. Her overarching goal is to create lasting and scalable impact by translating grassroots narratives into policy, planning, and governance insights. Anupriya holds an undergraduate degree in urban planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
