Archana Prasad studied her Bachelors in Painting and Masters in Art History at CKP, Bangalore. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Animation from NID, Ahmedabad. Archana has been actively engaged with community art practices for the last decade. She is the Founder-Director of Jaaga, a community based urban art, tech and activism project.
Starting as early as 2004 with Standing On Fish a small project involving engaging the public in art on the street to working on Bangalore City Project that aimed to explore ways by which people can connect with the city through cultural practices, she has been exploring the connection between art, community and city for a while now.
