Born in 1976 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Lives and works in Mexico City.

Visual artist, filmmaker and curator by training. He is part of a generation of artists that arose in Mexico City in the 90s, breaking away from the standards of academia and pictorial traditions inherited from the muralist movement. Through the use of conceptual art, installation and video, he questions violence, structures of power and the relationships they gen erate, and proposes reinterpretations of pop culture. His works are characterized by an added dimension of cutting wit.

He directed La Panadería in 1998-1999 and 2001-2002. As curator, his projects have been shown around the world in countries including Peru, USA, Mexico, Bolivia and Spain.
