Ashok Sukumaran is an artist and co-founder of the Mumbai-based collaborative studio, CAMP (https://studio.camp) and its constellation of projects. He has individual interests and two decades of practice in electronic and electric media, receiving recognitions including a Golden Nica at the Prix Ars Electronica, and with CAMP, the 2025 Asia Society Pathbreaker Award, the 2020 Nam June Paik Centre Prize among others. He has been interested in expanding this sense of media to other environments, including new and old geopolitical terrains, housing, shipping, exhibitions themselves, and also as a pedagogy.  Ashok was visiting professor at Forensic / Research Architecture, Goldsmiths London in 2023, and a Fellow at the Centre for Experimental Ethnography, University of Pennsylvania, in 2024.
