Born in Belfast in 1979, Brendan Jamison studied at the University of Ulster where he gained a First Class Honours degree in Fine and Applied Arts in 2002 and then a Master of Fine Art in 2004. His sculptures and video artworks have been widely exhibited in Northern Ireland. Further afield Jamison has shown in Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Austria, Sweden, America and China. In October 2006 he completed a residency and solo exhibition at KHOJ, New Delhi, India.
The artist’s work is housed in many private and corporate collections. He has received three awards from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and is represented by the Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast. Brendan is based at Flax Art Studios.
