Caetano de Almeida (b. 1964) is a Brazilian Postwar & Contemporary painter who lives and works in São Paulo. He has exhibited in Latin America and Europe for 25 years and has been the subject of solo museum and institutional exhibitions at 11R in New York, NY (2017); Pinacoteca do Estado, São Paulo (2007); Museo de Arte Moderna, Rio de Janeiro (2007); Museo de Arte Moderna, São Paulo (2003); and Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz, Ribeirao Preto (2015); along with gallery exhibitions at Galeria Luisa Strina, Sao Paulo; Andreas Thalmann Gallery, Zurich; and Galerie Anne de Villepoix, Paris, among others.

He has been featured in articles for Frieze Magazine, Bloomberg and Observer. The most recent article is A Painter of Organized Chaos written for Hyperallergic in April 2021.
