Bio

Flora Boillot was born in Paris in 1983. She lives and work in New Delhi.
She holds a B.A. in Political Sciences and International Relations and an M.A. in
Culture and Development from the Institute of Political Sciences, Lille.
After completed part of her studies in Jawarlal Nehru University, she moves back to
France to work closely on the first six months long festival focusing on
multidisciplinary Indian Contemporary Art, ‘Bombaysers de Lille’ held in Lille,
France. Assistant to the curator Caroline Naphegyi for the exhibition ‘Bombay
Maximum City’, she also heads the film section of the festival. In the frame of the
festival, she meets with artists Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher. They propose her to
move to India to head both their studios and coordinate their exhibitions. She settles
in New Delhi in 2007 and work closely with them till 2009.
In 2009, she is associated to the Centre Pompidou for ‘Delhi-Paris-Bombay…’, an
project of exhibition focusing on contemporary India. She is involved in the research
part and coordinate French artists projects.
Writer, project manager, art consultant and advisor, she has been has been working
lately on her own researches and publications.
