Haubitz + Zoche – Sabine Haubitz and Stefanie Zoche – have been artistic collaborators since 1998, their work ranging from public-space, photo and kinetic installations to sculptural work. Sabine Haubitz studied at the Hochschule der K¸nste, Berlin, as well as at the Akademie der Bildenden K¸nste, Munich. She received the Kodak Award for Young Artists in 1988 and a project stipend from the City of Munich in 1996. Stefanie Zoche studied at Middlesex Polytechnic in London. From 1995-97, she had a stipend from the Bavarian Ministry of Culture, and was assistant for the Klasse McBride in Munich from 1999-2000. Her installations, photo and video work have been widely exhibited in Europe and the US. The artists’ work is featured in Munich’s Museum of Photography, the Galerie Walter Storms in Munich and in the Museo Carrillo Gil in Mexico City.
