Jayashree Venkatadurai is an Assistant Professor at Department of Visual Communications at Avinashilingam University for Women in Tamil Nadu.

She finished her PhD in Art History from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamilnadu in 2018. She has written multiple papers for national and international journals and has curated group shows across India. Most recently, she has participated and been a technical committee member in International Conference on Artificial Intelligence – Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Emerging Challenges, Research and Opportunities (ICAI-2022) Organized by the Centre for Machine Learning and Intelligence, DST-CURIE-AI,during 24th & 25th February, 2022; Participated and presented paper titled, Digital Democracy and the Pluralization of images and Narratives in Tamil Cinema in the 5th International Conference, Digital Culture &Politics (Beyond Identity and Power), SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai, 21^st to 25^th March 2022; and Participated in IP Awareness training Program under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission Organised by Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India on June 22^nd 2022.
