Kaushik Bhaumik is a historian by training, specializing in film. Currently he is part of the curatorial team of a film festival in India dedicated to Asian and Arab cinema. Otherwise, most of Bhaumik’s time is taken up musing and writing about the mysterious relationships film has had with history in India and elsewhere.
