Bio

Latika Gupta has a BA in History from St. Stephen’s College, a BFA in painting from the College of Art and an MA and MPhil from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi, where she is currently studying towards a PhD in art history. She has received fellowships from the Charles Wallace India Trust and the Nehru Trust for independent research projects on Buddhist art and performative rituals. Latika has worked on documentary films and photography projects tracing the history of Indian art and as a curator at the National Gallery of Modern Art and at Khoj International Artists’ Association, besides curating independent exhibitions with artists from India and Pakistan.
