Promod Kumar completed his B.F.A in painting from College of Arts and Crafts Patna in 2007. Using digital medium for art expressions, Pramod depicts iconic and symbolistic images of intimate objects to provide a comprehensive view of things around him. He tackles questions of self discovery with pictographic configuration and clutter of every day objects. In 2012, he was part of the City as Studio residency at Sarai, CSDS. He has participated in group shows such as Sarai Reader 09, Devi Art Foundation, 2012; Baroda to Japan, MSU Baroda, 2011; Strands come together, The Strand Art Room, Mumbai, 2008; OED Art Gallery, Kochi 2008; Osmosis Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2008; Dhoomimal Art Gallery, New Delhi, 2007.
