Purnima Rao is a documentary filmmaker with a career spanning 17 years. She has worked in commercial television with broadcasters like the National Geographic Channel, Discovery, the BBC, Al Jazeera, Doordarshan etc. She is also a volunteer and library activist with the Community Library Project, New Delhi.
