Swagata Bhattacharyya’s practice gives visibility to speculative narratives of existing power structures and the multifaceted ways it shapes our world.He works with drawing, photographs and CGI to create simulated worlds. His inquiry lies in how modes of power shape policies, and speculates on construction of future environs, through architecture, urban design and manufactured landscapes and his practice focuses on the question of how urban design represents ideologies of governance.
