My practice is a reflection of my life, moments of fear, despair, vulnerability, and my constant resilience against all the odds. It portrays my everyday reality of being a woman while also gives the glimpses of my effort to negate my feminine identity only to establish myself as a human.
The practice of masquerade in my clothing and outfit shields my body from being prey to the male gaze, which previously used to malaise my life like many others. And thus my body has become the site as well as the tool to fight against all sorts of oppression, inequality and stereotypes.
