Inner Garden
My impression of India is one where there is a fluid and active relationship between life, nature, and art. I have experienced many beautiful things: the mixing of many colours in the chaos of the streets; intermittent blackouts; the respect for different gods; the debris floating in the Ganges after a festival; evening sunlight through the coconut trees; walking barefoot in the street after a downpour. Within this I am continuously aware of the fact that we as humans live as parasites of nature.
I am interested in the articulation of borders, where differences are emphasized through dialogue with the other. My use of objects is as visual metaphors that provide a concrete expression to experience.

You can find another window through which it is possible to come and go everywhere
To open it, to find it in the air”
