This project is a poetic and visual take on the tradition of gathering together to enjoy food. I suggest looking at social gatherings as an opportunity for connection and sharing, the tradition that is unlikely to stop. Gathering together at the table for different occasions is a huge part of culture I’d like to emphasise this in my project by reminding that there is no place for conflict while eating together. The photographs of leftovers in this context become the evidence of something positive happening, the artefact of the past and hope for the future.Yet there is a notion of time not being endless, illustrated by the tableware and remains looking like a ruined landscape.  I believe that through care and togetherness there might be a hope for the next meal bringing us to share life.
