Khoj was delighted to host the Delhi edition of The Listening Biennial, from October 9 to 14.
The Listening Biennial Delhi brought together a collection of audio works curated by Alecia Neo, Brandon LaBelle, Soledad García Saavedra, and Suvani Suri. Through the week, the spaces at Khoj were activated through a series of discursive and performative assemblies engaging with and responding to the impulses of a Third Listening. The programme was designed and assembled by Suvani Suri
Third Listening is a listening done together and in spite of exclusionary systems, lending to acts of speaking-with and the embodied, living ethics that support diverse abilities. This includes holding the tension inherent to hospitality, where coexistence requires the ongoingness of struggle, imagination, courage and protection.
