Khoj organised a book reading and zine-making workshop as part of the 28° North and Parallel Weathers Exhibition. As an attempt to make the exhibition accessible to our immediate community, the workshop invited the children of the Khirkee community to engage with the artworks through the medium of books and zines.
The session started with a group-reading of ‘Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth’by Oliver Jeffers and was followed by a zine-making activity which had elements from the exhibition that the children could creatively engage with and further explore by transforming their ideas and hopes for our ecological condition in to zines.
