With multiple releases under their belt followed by acclaim and accolades over the course of this past year, New Delhi based artist shauharty and Bombay’s pakeezah released their debut extended play titled ‘Paint It, Dull’, a 6-track long project which spans for 23 mins, exploring the harrowing absurdity of human psyche in distressing situations, filled with influences from the rock and folk music of the yesteryears, notably bands like Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors and genre-ranging legend Bob Dylan.

The listening party at Khoj Studios delivered to the audience a comprehensive run-through of their project ‘Paint It, Dull’. The session did not include a live performance of the tracks, but was rather an interactive session about the making of the project and the nitty-gritties involved.
