Khoj hosted Shehr-e-Mehfil, an open-house evening of poetry, shayari, singing, discussion, and more as part of the project Raabta: Women and their association with the City.

The open-house began with the key speakers talking about the city and the public life of women and a rap performance. Later in the evening the mic was opened up to the public who could recite something of their own.

Key speakers include: Sarover Zaidi – Social Anthropologist, Abu Talha Farooqi – Architect, poet, Jaya Basera – Heritage Consultant and Rap artist Alkama Parveen
