Barbara Imhof is a space architect and the co-founder and co-manager of the LIQUIFER Systems Group <www.liquifer.com>, a platform for a group of experts from the fields of architecture, design, human factors, systems engineering, physics and space technology. She has extensive project experience in trans-disciplinary, cross-cultural and cross-generational collaborationsthat have generated innovative research and applications for space and planet Earth – current projects of interest include GrAB (Growing as Building) and SHEE (Self-deployable Habitat for Extreme Environments).In addition, she has nearly 15-years of teaching at renowned Universities. Educated in architecture in Vienna, London, and Los Angeles, Barbara holds multiple degrees including a PhD.
