Pramodha Weerasekera is a curator, researcher, and writer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She holds a BA (Hons) in English (University of Colombo) and an LLB (Hons) (University of London). She has been the Assistant Curator Education and Public Programmes at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka since its inception in 2019. Her role at the museum mainly involves curating public programmes and learning experiences for schools and higher education institutions in conjunction with exhibitions. Her research and curatorial interests are gender, justice, emotion, and interconnections between visual cultures and literature, particularly through literary and feminist theories. She is committed to facilitating knowledge creation, critical thinking, and emotional reflection through arts and culture.
