The film speculates the effects of light changing primarily using the motif of the sky, particularly in relation to the emotional, ethereal, and theological. The film takes its cue from The Stellar Rays of the Stars by Al-Kindi and a re-reading of Ibils’s narrative by Husayn Ibn Mansur al-Hallaj, and foregrounds the image and the phenomena of the eclipse.
After the screening of the film, arshad and pramodha will engage in a discussion about his process, inspirations, and more.
