Shivangi Bansal
Bio
Shivangi Bansal is an arts enthusiast, working as a curator and arts advisor in her hometown, Kathmandu. She is the founder of Danfe Arts, an art space that promotes independent art practices of young and emerging artists in Nepal. Her curatorial practice involves collaborative and community engagement while also exploring themes of metaphysics, its societal context in Kathmandu and identity politics. She completed her MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from University of Sussex and is currently involved with the culture team at UNESCO Kathmandu. She has previously worked as a sub-editor for a heritage magazine and as a gallery assistant during her studies. Beyond her work, she is also interested in learning more about different religions and cultures.
