Swati Kumari is a visual practitioner based in Delhi NCR, who loves experimenting with different mediums and techniques.

She believes in making art inclusive and welcoming, to avoid the anxiety of alienation. She aims to understand and stay curious about life, love, memory, and everyday interactions with her surroundings. It pushes her to know them a little better. With the use of carbon and drawing, soft sculpture, textiles, and books as a form she invites the viewer to engage in a dialogue with them.

Part of her practice reflects her struggle to include humor, and take stress lightly and also explores the dynamic relationship between the body and space. She holds a BFA in painting from the College of Art, Delhi, and a Master’s in Visual Arts from Ambedkar University, Delhi.
