Kajri Gaay aur Kavve ka Christmas
Ringing in the holiday season, we read ‘Kajri Gaay aur Kavve ka Christmas’, which follows the story of Kajri Gaay and all her friends on the farm who are excited about Christmas. But the crow has no friends to share the joy with so Kajri surprises him to show him how friends can make Christmas special for each other.
The book is originally written by Swedish Jujja Wieslander, translated into Hindi by Swati Purandare with illustrations by Sven Nordqvist and published by A&A Books. The book narrates a delightful tale of friendship, sharing and surprises.
The After School programme at Khoj is a reading engagement with the children of the Khirkee neighbourhood, in friendship with Parag facilitated by Tuhina Sharma.
The Parag Initiative of the Tata Trusts is driven by a belief in the transformative power of reading, working to ensure that children across India can appreciate and enjoy reading, especially in diverse vernacular languages.
