A series of events were planned for the second week. All the participants by now had got acquainted with the city, either through the formal visits or through their own explorations. Yet the need was to provide a glimpse of the contemporary artistic and cultural background of the city. In order to do so, three practicing artists from the city were invited to present their works, namely, Jayant Joshi, whose interest ranges from abstract paintings to photography, Vaishali Oak, who works in textiles and Abhir Patwardhan who is a sculptor. Later in the week a Kathak performance was given by Maneesha Abhay, who is the current Secretary of Nrityabharati Kathak Dance Academy, Pune. Apart from these, a talk on Boi-Art was organized. It was given by a Canadian Curator, Mireille Bourgeois. These presentations and performances punctuated the ones given by the participating artists.
