Akshay Raj Singh Rathore
Akshay Raj Singh Rathore (b. 1978 in Madhya Pradesh) has received a B.F.A. from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and a P.G. in Animation from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. He has been artist in residence at Sanskriti Foundation, New Delhi, India and IAAB studios, Basel, Switzerland. He will attend the Sally and Don Lucas Residency at Montalvo Arts Centre, Saratoga, California in 2013. He has been the recipient of KHOJ grant: Negotiating Routes: Ecologies of the Byways in 2012. Recently he has partnered with The Rhizome Alliance, a Chicago based organization to support eco sustainability.
