About this edition

We are pleased to announce that Khoj and Arthshila are now accepting applications from creative practitioners for a fully-funded, on-site artist residency at Parivartan in Siwan, Bihar. Parivartan is an integrated rural community development initiative by Takshila Educational Society. The Arthshila X Khoj Artist Residency Open Call 2022 is a search for exceptionally talented artists working in Ceramics, Textile, Sculpture and Printmaking. We are looking for creative practitioners who have developed their artistic voice and have something to say.

Eligibility

This opportunity is for Indian nationals only

Early to Mid-Career artists with a substantive studio practice

Self-taught artists with a minimum of 3 years of experience

Application Requirements for Artists-in-Residence

Resume / CV

Up to 10 images of previous works with a short concept note or explanatory text accompanying it (preferably as a small sized .pdf format) Please note – Videos to be sent as links only (with viewing permission)

2 letters of reference from senior artists or any other creative practitioner who has been following your work intimately. (Note – The letters can be digitally signed by the referees if they are unable to do so in person)
