In collaboration with Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, the first edition of Curatorial Intensive South Asia (CISA), a new fellowship for young curators from South Asia was held at KHOJ in July 2017. The programme aims to develop a diversity of perspectives on the medium of the exhibition in South Asia and to provide both a structured and an experimental inquiry into the possibilities of curatorial practice today.
Following the first phase, selected Fellows were offered the opportunity to independently develop curatorial projects over a period of six months during which they were mentored by the programme leaders. Curatorial Intensive South Asia / Seven Exhibitions was the culmination of these projects.
